Parkour, sometimes called Free Running (though purist Parkour devotees draw distinctions between the two), is an increasingly popular physical activity that originated in France.
With its popularization through films like the Daniel Craig Bond flick Casino Royale and Bruce Willis’s Live Free or Die Hard, Parkour now has adherents and practitioners the world over — including in China, where it’s known as “Pao Ku” (跑酷 - literally, “running cool.”)
This video featured some great parkour scenes in Guangxi University. A Youku user commented, “Finally, you girls can understand how the underwears went disappear.” LOL.

Chinese kids will be a force in pa ku if it continues to grow in popularity there. I reckon Jackie Chan is the father of parkour. Many of his minor stunts in his earlier movies are pure parkour.
