The Meizu M8, China’s fabulous shanzhai iPhone, is finally available on shelves. Just as most shanzhai brands have done in the Chinese market, Meizu picked DRTV as their primary advertising channel.

In the 17-minute DRTV commercial, the hosts compared “an international phone model that starts with the letter i” (i某国际品牌) to the Meizu M8. At 01:15, you can see the details: Uh-oh, looks like the Meizu M8 has kicked the crap out of “iXxxxx” from every perspective — camera quality, screen resolution, supported file formats, and of course price - RMB 2380 (USD 348).

But my personal favorite Chinese DRTV host is still Boss Hou (侯总). Watch his brilliant performances and imagine how many Meizu M8s will be sold in China if only he starred in the commercial!
