Hmm… Very little actual information is available in this video. But let me briefly translate the related news from the Guangzhou Daily for you. The title is, “Facing Traffic Problem on the Way to School, Parent sent High School Student to School by HELICOPTER”!
At 00:05 of the video, a student in uniform comes out of the helicopter, with a white bag in his hand. He starts running when he gets down to the playground. The helicopter takes off two seconds later. No people gathered around.
A representative from Donghua High School, Dongguan confirmed to the journalist: “It happened in 2007.” It was a Sunday afternoon. The boy from the helicopter was from Changping village, Dongguan. He was studying in Grade 11. His father, who owned the helicopter, was an entrepreneur. Someone from the high school called the student’s father at the same day, and got the answer that he sent his child by helicopter simply because of the traffic problem.
As for how the boy performed at school, the representative said, “The boy was quite nice and low-profile. He usually took bus to school. And his among Grade A or B. Now he’s already a college student.” What happened in the video was the only time he arrived school by helicopter.
We say it’s good that he managed to be so low-profile. Well done.
